Over the past few years, as a tumultuous region traditionally gripped by deep-seated tensions and conflicts,
the geopolitical situation in the Middle East has undergone a number of profound changes. Primarily precipitated by (but not exclusively due to) developments such as the ongoing civil war in Syria, what has been long considered a relatively stable status quo of regional cooperation and enmity, is now profoundly altered. This publication includes insights from the conference on "EU-Israeli Relations and the Changing Dynamics of the Middle East". The conference was conducted with cooperation with the Foundation for European Progressive Studies (FEPS).
