On April 9th 2019, general elections for the 21st Knesset were held in Israel. While this Knesset session did not last long, the elections provided a data and knowledge for an analysis of voting patterns among Israelis.
Due to this, 'The Macro Center for Political Economics' conducted a research that provides an analysis of voting patterns based on demographic and socio-economic data. In order to analyze the results, there has been use in the Israeli CBS statistical areas division from 2011 and the detailed information from the Israeli Central Election Committee from 2013, 2015 and 2019. All in all, more than 10,000 polls have been analyzed in a unique data set.
The use in this data set had enables identification of trends and insights about the main voting patterns in Israel. A special emphasis has been given to the non-Jewish population and immigrants from the former USSR.
